Fire Damage and Restoration.

I wanted to take a moment to share some sobering facts that also point toward some encouraging trends.

As reported by the United States Fire Administration (part of FEMA), in 2010, there were 362,100 residential fires in the United States.  These fires resulted in 2,555 deaths, 13,275 injuries and caused $6,646,900,000 in damage.  That is sad news indeed when you stop and think about all the families who were affected by house fires.  how many families lost loved ones, and pets, and whose lives were turned upside down from the damages caused by these fires.

Everyday, we see the results of residential, and commercial, fire damage.  We’ll never lose sight, that through the restoration process, the families are the most important aspect of what we do.  That’s why Phoenix Restoration & Environmental Services will always be a willing, and proud partner, in conjunction with the insurance carriers, with public adjusters, with the emergency response professionals, the red cross and many other organizations whose sole purpose is to help the families affected by fires.

The good news however…. if we look back to 1977, we’ve come a looooooonnng way in fire safety and we should be proud of it!  In 1977, the same statistics are much more grim; 723,500 house fires resulting in over 5865 deaths and 21,640 injuries.  That is some great news I think we can all be happy with as we’re moving in the right direction!

Phoenix Restoration is proud to serve the Northeastern Pennsylvania area from the northern Poconos to the Slate Belt to the Lehigh Valley.
